Privacy Policy

This policy explains what OddsOnIce (oddsonice.com) collects, why, and what you can do about it. Short version: we collect what we need to run your account, we don't sell it, and you can ask us to delete it anytime.
What we collect
Account details: your email address, your password (stored only in scrambled, hashed form; we can't see it), your confirmation that you're 21 or older, and when you signed up and last logged in.
Bet slips you save: if you use My Picks, we store the slips and legs you save (teams, players, lines, odds, stake and results) so we can grade them and show your record. Only you can see them.
Slip photos: when you scan a bet slip, the photo is sent to Anthropic's Claude AI to read the legs off it. We don't store the photo; we keep only the legs you save.
Technical data: like most websites, our hosting provider records basic request information such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, for security and to keep the site running. We also use Vercel Web Analytics to count page visits and see which sites send people to us. It doesn't use cookies, doesn't follow you across other sites, and doesn't identify you personally.
Cookies and local storage
We use cookies only to keep you logged in. Your browser's local storage remembers small display preferences, such as which animations you've already seen. We don't use advertising cookies or cross-site trackers.
How we use it
To run your account and log you in; to send account emails (confirming your email address and resetting your password); to grade and show your saved picks; to keep the site secure; and to understand, in aggregate, how the site is used so we can improve it.
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it with advertisers or sportsbooks.
Who we share it with
Only the services that run OddsOnIce for us, and only what each one needs: Supabase (database and logins), Vercel (hosting and visit counts), Resend (account emails) and Anthropic (reading scanned bet slips). We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect the safety and rights of our users and of OddsOnIce.
How long we keep it
We keep your account and saved picks for as long as your account is open. When you delete your account, we delete your account details and saved picks, except anything we're required by law to keep.
Your choices and rights
You can change your password from your profile at any time. To get a copy of your data, correct it, or delete your account and everything tied to it, email support@oddsonice.com from the address on your account. We'll respond within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights, and we'll honor them.
Security
Your connection to OddsOnIce is encrypted, passwords are hashed, and your saved picks are locked so only your account can read them. No system is perfectly secure, so use a strong password you don't use anywhere else.
21+ only
OddsOnIce is only for people 21 and older. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 21. If you believe someone under 21 has an account, email us and we'll delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top, and for big changes we'll let you know by email or on the site.
